Synopsis: 

This course is designed to train selected technicians in the operations, preventive, and corrective maintenance of the MFR and ancillary downlink system. Course objectives are met through structured learning and performance activities. Successful completion results in a certificate and Maintenance Level certification. This course is divided into five modules, which are as follows: 

• USB system interface. 
• MFR introduction, power system, and signal source drawer. 
• Sum and error channel drawers. 
• Telemetry demodulator drawer. 
• MFR Controller (IMC-8088 MPU) and interface, collimation system, and STDN system maintenance program.
