Synopsis: 

The Programmable Telemetry Processor (NT version 1.40) Desktops course trains selected operators in creating desktops on the PTP equipment. Students achieve course objectives by participating in class discussions, constructing desktops for mission projects, completing student assignments and passing written and practical tests.. 

Interactive Laboratory Exercises give hands on PTP experience constructing and verifying desktop operation. 

Student progress is monitored via student assignments, interactive laboratory exercises, and one written and one practical test. 

Topics covered in this course include the following: 

  • Creating PTP desktops for designated mission projects.
  • Practicing safe work habits with regard to "personal safety."
  • Avoiding procedures that can result in equipment damage.
Prerequisites: 
    None 
Note: 
This course is normally scheduled on request. One PTP (NT version 1.40) at the site, must be available for each two students attending the class. Requestor must provide the classroom and PTP (NT version 1.40) in a configuration suitable for achieving course objectives. Contact CCTG for further details.
