Topics covered in this course include the following:

  • Introduction to UNIX systems.
  • Introduction to UNIX networks.
  • System access.
  • Introduction to common UNIX commands.
  • Directory structure and file management.
  • Mail utility.

This checklist may be used to evaluate potential student's abilities to determine whether a need for enrollment exists.
Note:
  • This course is normally scheduled on request. Requestor must provide the interactive classroom and Unix terminals in a configuration suitable for achieving course objectives. Contact Training & Certification Office  for further details.
