Synopsis: 

The TDRSS Real-time Operations course provides students with training in TDRSS real-time configurations. Course discussions cover forward and return link configuration and control as well as fault isolation procedures. Typical operational scenarios as well as diagnostic and corrective action exercises are presented, and student involvement is encouraged. 

Due to its focus on real-time operations, this course is strongly recommended for mission operators and support operations personnel who will be responsible for configuring/reconfiguring real-time TDRSS supports. All other personnel involved with TDRSS supports are also welcome and may find the course particularly informative and useful. 

Prerequisites: 

• It is highly recommended that prospective students complete Course 880, TDRSS Orientation, and Course 882, TDRSS Scheduling, prior to attending this course.
